I have been working with CREATON  bodies for years and I am particularly impressed with the handling qualities of CREATON-body Nr. 596. Fine and delicate figures as well as powerful objects are possible with this body and its colour pallet also supports the plasticity of my objects when fired in a wood kiln.

Today, I work increasingly with   Nr. 1112, the white hand-building body with white caolin chamotte. I press figures into the damp surface of slabs with coloured engobes, which works very well. This pale body contrasts wonderfully with the prints when fired in wood kiln and the colours are more intensive. The 1mm chamotte seems to give the surface a certain liveliness.
